May 15, 2015 - Upcoming events and schedule
CrossFit Regionals- For the next three weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), Regional events will be taking place. They can all be watched live at games.crossfit.com. Follow your favorite athletes. See which athletes and teams will qualify for the Games. North East regionals will be held May 22-24 at the XL Center Arena in Hartford, CT. Tickets can be purchased at the venue or online at games.crossfit.com.
Murph Workout- This Sunday at noon, for those who cannot participate in the Murph workout on Memorial Day. Be sure to use the sign up sheet at the front desk. Space is limited as it is only one time slot available this Sunday so please only come this Sunday if you do not intend or can’t make it on Memorial Day. On Memorial Day there will be three time slots available for the workout, 730am, 9am and 1030am. There is a scholarship set up at themurphchallenge.com, where funds raised will go towards the Michael P Murphy Scholarship Fund.
Spartan Race- Sunday May 31st. There is still time to register at spartan.com. Join your fellow members and take on this obstacle course challenge.
Sunday 5/17 @ 12pm- Murph Workout. There will be no Open gym this day.
Saturday 5/23- 5TCF will be closed.
Monday 5/25- Memorial Day. Classes will be held at 730am, 9am & 1030am. Be sure to register on Zen Planner. Space will be limited.
Sunday 5/31- 5TCF will be closed.
May 4, 2015 - Upcoming May events
The following are events for the month of May:
Memorial Day “Murph”- Monday 5/25. There will be three classes held on this day, at 730am, 9am and 1030am. The workout will take place at 5TCF. You can also register at themurphchallenge.com. Funds raised go towards the Michael P Murphy Memorial Scholarship Foundation.
If you cannot do the workout on this day due to traveling or holiday, we will also be allowing those individuals to come in on Sunday 5/25 at Noon to complete the workout. Please be sure to use the sign up sheet at the front desk for that session.
Spartan Race- Sunday 5/31. Join your fellow members to take on the 3+ mile obstacle course race this day. Run through trails on a ski mountain, climb walls, carry sandbags, rope climb, spear throw, etc. This is a fun and challenging event. All those who participated last year enjoyed the experience. If you haven’t done one before, why not do it now with your fellow members. Register at spartanrace.com, select the “morning” time slot and then the “9-10am” slot. Be sure to register as part of team “5 Towns CrossFit”.
April 23, 2015 - Monday 9pm Class and Memorial Day Murph
Monday 9pm Class- We will be adding a new class to our schedule. Starting Monday, April 27th, there will be a new 9pm class added on Monday. It will appear on Zen Planner. As always be sure to reserve for the class if you plan on attending it. As with the other 9pm classes, if there are no reservations by the 8pm cut off time the class will be cancelled for that evening.Memorial Day Murph- A lot of members have informed us that they would not be able to do Murph on Memorial Day due to traveling or a holiday. For those of you who cannot do the “Murph” workout on Memorial Day, we will be allowing you to do the workout on Sunday May 17th during Open gym time. We will start at noon. April 16, 2015 - Weekend schedule 4/17 & 4/18
Class schedule is normal. Open gym on Saturday is from 12pm to 1pm and Sunday is from 11am to 1pm.

Sale on all current apparel we have in stock. For the month of April, all t-shirts and women’s tank tops are $15 and sweatshirts are $35.
New Reebok CrossFit catalog and women’s apparel catalog are in. Reminder that all Reebok products are 20% off retail.
March 31, 2015 - Final Open Rankings
The Open has come to a close. It was a fun 5 weeks. One where people pushed themselves beyond what they thought they were capable of. PRs were set, achievements were made. Weaknesses were exposed. But most of all, everyone who registered gave it 100% as a test of their fitness. Hopefully each and every one of you enjoyed the experience as 5TCF has enjoyed watching you give it your best.
