Getting Started

Step One:

Free Intro Class: Prior to making any type of commitment, we want you to experience our workouts, coaching and gym environment first-hand. Your Free Intro Class enables you to meet our coaches and get familiar with our workout environment, learn how we can modify all of our workouts to any fitness level, try a workout first-hand (optional) and ask questions about how the program works or anything else on your mind. Your Free Intro Class can be scheduled for Sunday at 11am by appointment only. If this conflicts with your schedule, we will do our best to accommodate for you.

Step Two:

Foundations: If you decide to train at 5TCF, before you can enter into the mainstream classes you must first complete our 6 session Foundations program. This program runs on a two week cycle on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at 8pm. It is a 6 session program that focuses on safety, mechanics, consistency and gradual increase of intensity that is required for group classes. Upon successful completion of the program, you will be ready to participate in our CrossFit Group Classes.  Class sizes are limited so please notify us in advance if you are looking to enter the Foundations program.

The Foundations program is designed to gradually introduce the movements, training and intensity found in our program. In this program, we will expose beginners to our movement curriculum to allow the transition into mainstream classes to be as smooth as possible. Movement techniques will be drilled and you will receive a progressive introduction to the intensity levels that are inherent in our group classes. Clients can test out of the Foundations Program if they have a level of experience that permits them to do so. This program is solely created for the safety of every client in our gym. We do not want anyone to be intimidated in our classes so this program has been created to allow yourself to build comfort with the movements and surroundings.

Please begin the Foundations program when the following apply:

  • You are active and injury-free.
    Foundations is designed for the generally active individual with no serious movement limitations.
  • You can commit to a set schedule.
    You will be required to attend all 6 scheduled sessions. Any missed classes must be made up privately at an additional $20 cost per session.  We only ask for a six day commitment so please plan ahead and schedule accordingly.

1 on 1 Foundations:  This program is an opportunity for new athlete to learn the fundamentals of CrossFit who are looking for a more private setting or who have limited availability.  We can arrange a schedule at your and a member of our coaching staff’s mutual convenience.

Step 3:

CrossFit Group Classes: A high intensity workout consisting of cardiovascular exercise, weight lifting, and gymnastics combined to form a diverse, all inclusive training program. While our program is designed to challenge top athletes, every workout and movement is infinitely scalable to any fitness level.
